Rahul was a college student. His family consisted of his father, mother and an elder sister. When this incident occurred, Rahul was about 19 years old and his sister Ruchi was 25. Ruchi was quite outgoing, liberal and modern in her thinking and attire. Ruchi has a nice, long face, clear skin, milky white complexion and didn't usually wear much makeup. She had married a man twenty years elder to her, much against the vehement wishes of the family. However, the marriage lasted only for a couple of years and soon Ruchi came back to stay with her family. Ruchi was not slim and had fat in the right places.

They lived in an independent building with a large garden in the front. The ground floor consisted of a room, which was occupied by the parents, kitchen and a Hall. The first floor had two bedrooms, each occupied by Rahul & Ruchi. It was May, the beginning of summer and the temperatures were through the roof. However, only Rahul's room had an Air conditioner. As the temperatures rose, Ruchi decided to talk to Rahul.
